Lovegrove (New Castle, Indiana), born in Butlerville, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Dica L. Lovegrove (Buchanan); his son Steven Lovegrove; his siblings, Ronald, James, Kerry, Gerald Lovegrove and Diana Lovegrove; his grandson Jared Holmes; and his great grandchild Luke McGrew.

He is survived by: his wife Lela June Lovegrove (Padgett); his daughters, Linda Joseph of Muncie and Lora Holmes (David) of Muncie; his grandchildren, Jessica Terry (Mark) of Grand Rivers, Joshua Lovegrove (Yolanda) of Anderson, Shafik Joseph (Nancy) of New Castle, Melissa Ratliff of Florida, Christy Parson (Tom Heiliger) of Bloomington, Sammy Joseph (Danielle) of Muncie, Terry "TJ" Lovegrove (Chrystal) of Selma, Brandon Holmes (Jessica) of Waco, Corie Sargent of Muncie, Jeremy Holmes (Erica) of Fairlawn and Lacey Conley (Michael) of Muncie; his siblings, Kenneth Lovegrove (Charlotte) of Seymour, David Lovegrove of North Vernon and Kathy Millemon (Larry) of Columbus; and his sister-in-law Lena Lovegrove of North Vernon. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
