She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Brown and Oleda Brown (Clark); her brothers, Donald Brown and Ralph "Skip" Brown; her uncles, Lowell and Lonzo Clark; and her aunt Addie Clark Brown.
She is survived by : her daughters, Carla Gardener of Spiceland, Jennifer Perkins of New Castle, Shawna Thompson of Muncie and Lonna Bean (Bruce) of New Palestine; her stepson Tony Perkins (Meleah) of New Castle; her siblings, Barbara Perry (Tom) of Somerset, Kentucky and Gary Brown of New Castle; and her former life partner Doug Perkins (Sherry) of Clearwater, Florida.. She is also survived by six grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
