With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Jean Hannon of New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on May 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Padgett and Clara Padgett (McCaslin); her husband William "Bill" Hannon; her daughter Sandra "Sandy" Shipley; her grandsons, Eric T. Purnell and Brock Shipley; and her siblings, Joyce, Nalla, David, Sonny and Bill.
She is survived by: her sons, Don F. Purnell (Kathy) and Bill Hannon Jr. (Gaylena); her grandchildren, Ryan Purnell, Larry Shipley, Matthew (Kim), Mark Hannon (Lizza), Miranda Parrish (Tony) and Ross Hannon (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Jakob, Sydney, Mila, Isa Hannon, Alexis Shipley, Caden, Coley Parrish and Maddox Purnell; and her caregivers, Kat Throneburg and Sheryl Justice. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
