Scott F. Pfenninger Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott F. Pfenninger (New Castle, Indiana), born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Brenda Smith-Pfenninger (Smith); his grandparents, O. B., Virginia "Evelyn" Smith, Alvis and Dorothy Pfenninger; and his uncle Bill R. Smith.

He is survived by : his father David P. Pfenninger of Union City, Indiana; his wife Rhonda Pfenninger (Pierce); his pet Oliver; his children, Kelsey Slaven (Steven) of Muncie, Kerry West (James) of Muncie, Karli Segraves (Robbie) of Muncie and Cory Winkhart (Chelsea) of New Castle; his siblings, Christa Isaacs (Duane Clemens) of New Castle, Brian Pfenninger of Livingston and David T. Pfenninger (Suzanne) of Carmel; his grandchildren, Ellie of Muncie, Rowan Slaven of Muncie, Aralyn West of Muncie, Ani of Muncie, Kali of Muncie, Azrael Segraves of Muncie, Camden of New Castle and Collins Winkhart of New Castle; his uncle Don Smith (Suzy); and his aunts, Cathy Smith of Byrdstown, Tennessee, Beverly Matthews (Duane) of New Castle, Wanda Pfenninger of New Castle and Ada Marcum of New Castle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In honor of Scott's memory donations may be offered to the Henry County Community Foundation, P.O. Box 6006, New Castle, IN 47362 c/o Boys of Summer Fund (to be established). Donations may also be given personally to the family for distribution at their discretion, to local VA, homeless shelters, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, or youth sporting events.
