She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Henry Overmyer and Stella Overmyer (Paterson); her children, Jennifer Barnes of Delaware, OH and John Johnson of San Jose, CA.; her granddaughter Caylin Amador (Andy) of Richmond Hills, GA; her siblings, Richard, Charles Overmyer, Neva Enyeart and Marjorie Pursell; her nieces, Patricia Overmyer and Nancy Simms; and her nephew Terry Overmyer. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to New Haven United Methodist Church, or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana of the American Heart Association.
