She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harlan Lykins and Elizabeth Mary Conley Lykins; and her husband John Peters. She is survived by: her sons, Travis Kip Peters (Joy) and Willie Kristopher Peters; and her siblings, Jim Lykins (Sandy), Elaine Court (Mike) and Patty McGoff (Kevin).
