He is survived by: his wife Fern Klier (Osborne); his nephew Robert A. Klier of Athens; his great-nephews, Michael G. Klier of Georgetown and David E. Klier II of Mooresville; and his great-niece Tammy Shim Chadez of Grand Junction, Colorado..
