He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Szalay and Theresa Szalay (Molnar); and his significant other Carolyn R. Szalay (O'Connor). He is survived by: his children, R. Scott Szalay (Kurt), Theresa R. (Szalay) and Vester (Bruce); and his grandchildren, Olivia (Vester), Jones (Spencer), Cameron Vester, Mariah, Matthew, Zoey, Dianna, Isaac and Skylar Szalay.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel (1444 US-52, Fountaintown, IN 46130). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
