He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Byerly and Margaret Byerly (Snyder); his wife Lela Edith Byerly (Saylor); his siblings, Jesse Byerly, Ruby Flick and Lola Seiler; and his grandson Randy Brian McComb.

He is survived by : his daughters, Tamie Timberlake, Sherry Wimmer, Pansy Strickland, Pamela Asher Gough (Sean) and Angela Kallembach; and his brother Carl Byerly.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Swarens Funeral Home (1405 IN-64, Ramsey, IN 47166). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
