With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Gass of Newburgh, Indiana, born in Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on September 11, 2021 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Gass to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hester and Edna Gass (Morgan); his wife Geraldine Gass (Beard); and his daughter Lisa Gass. He is survived by: his children, Shawnna Gerding (Phil), Lynda Merrill (Jeff), Marty Gass (Carol) and Jon Stephen Gass; his grandchildren, Brian Gerding (Megan), Kevin Gass, Christopher Gass, Chrystal Day (Matt), Morgan Merrill and Kaden Merrill; his great grandchild Claire Elizabeth; and his sister Mary Helen Mitchell.
