It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvis James Wathen of Newburgh, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James Jordan Wathen; his stepmother Nancy Ann Wathen; and his sister Mary Elizabeth Mullikin. He is survived by: his wife Karen Wathen (Cooper); his children, Brandon Wathen (Tajee) of Murfreesboro, TN, Bryan Fodge (Keli) of Chandler, IN and Katelyn Wathen; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Aden, James, Brady Wathen, Kayleigh, Logan, Connor and Emaleigh Fodge; his siblings, Wayne Wathen and Lisa White (David); and his mother-in-law Betty Carter (Robert).

Due to COVID-19, a mask will be required.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Katelyn Wathen College Fund at Old National Bank.
