It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald R. Hicks of Newburgh, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Hicks and Ida Hicks (Townsend); his wife Beverly Hicks (Goodman); his daughter Geri Gowens; and his siblings, Mary Ann, Betty and Russ.

He is survived by: his daughter Stacy Hicks; his grandchildren, Zachery, Brandon, Allyssa Hicks, Ryan and Evan Gowens; and his sister Nancy. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
