He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Xavier (Frank) and Catherine Elizabeth Hayden (Frey) of Owensboro, KY.; and his siblings, Raymond Hayden, Rita Alsup and Carol Howard.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Melody Hayden and Paul J. Hayden, Jr.; his grandchildren, Colburn, Cameron, Tawnie, Ciera, Dorothy, Basil and Josie; and his sisters, Mary Rosman Thompson (Robbie) and Ruth Ann Green.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Linda E. White Hospice House.
