It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Alvarez of Newburgh, Indiana, born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentin B. Alvarez and Gloria Alvarez (Ochoa); and his brother Valentin. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his stepsons, Evan Lampman (Allie) of Helena and David Maldonado (Brooklyn) of Newburgh; his brothers, John of Abilene, Tony (Jennifer) of Jonesville and Randy (Kate) of Abilene; and his grandchildren, Emmett and Kollyns Maldonado. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
