He was predeceased by: his son Richard Allen Ray; and his sister Sarah Dorroh. He is survived by: his wife Karen S. Ray; his daughter Pamela Lynn Ray of Huntington Beach, CA; and his sister Anna Lee Phelps of Eddyville, KY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
