He was predeceased by: his wife Starr Hurst (Campbell); and his son George Hurst. He is survived by: his children, Starr Annette Martin, Robert L. Hurst, Jr. (Pam) and Chris Hurst (Linda). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.
