She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Fred Henkel; her daughter Patricia Lee Meisinger; and her brothers, Don and Bob. She is survived by: her daughter Debra Resing (Michael) of Newburgh; her grandchildren, Patricia McConnell, Kirsten McConnell (Bart Battles) and Cameron McConnell (Jason Moore); and her great grandchild Olivia George of Lindsey Battles. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
