With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Rae Haug of Newburgh, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on December 15, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bassemier and Ruth Rold Bassemier (Hester); her husbands, Herb and Herbert Haug; and her sisters, Carol Bengert and Patti Antey.

She is survived by: her children, Dave (Julie), Mike (Debbie), Dan (Jean), Steve (Angela), Linda (Larry Wicker) and Denise (Steve Nellis). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
