With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Mae Herbert of Newport, Indiana, who passed away on March 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Mae Herbert to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Reffett and Normamae Reffett (Clossin); her husband Lawrence Leon Herbert Sr.; her sister Cherry Ilene; and her grandchildren, Jasmine Wiltbank and Eric Wiltbank.

She is survived by: her children, Terri Rico, Timala Hack, Andrew McClure, John Herbert and Lawrence Herbert Jr.; and her siblings, Jackie Balding and Leroy Reffett. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

The family kindly requests that in place of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution in Carolyn's name to the American Cancer Society.
