Violet Aukerman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Aukerman of Newport, Indiana, who passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Gunsalus and Katharyn Gunsalus; her husband Malcolm H. Aukerman; and her siblings, Joseph, Wanda and Janice.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Turner (Jeff), Bruce Aukerman (Nancy) and David Aukerman; her grandchildren, Katharyn Turner, Matthew Turner, Hailey Aukerman and Emme Aukerman; her great grandchildren, David Turner and Josiah Turner; and her brother David Gunsalus.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vermillion County Christian Food Center.
