She was predeceased by: her mother Leila Kate Johnson; her daughter Chenell Lewis; her father Joe Johnson; and her siblings, Richard C. Johnson, Howard D. Johnson and Elyse Johnson.
She is survived by: her son Edward Lewis; her daughter-in-law Anita Bakker of Noblesville, IN; her siblings, Joe Johnson of Ft. Wayne, Van Johnson of Ocala, Teresa Johnson Cox of Noblesville, IN and Greg Johnson (Carlotta) of Marion, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Tia Spaulding, Denise Lewis, Tasha Giroux, Oliver Lewis and Devon Lewis. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
