He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmett McKenney and Dorothy McKenney. He is survived by : his wife Ann J. McKenney; his children, Mike McKenney (Terri), Mark R. McKenney (Kelly), Tamera S. Knisely (James) and Timothy S. McKenney; his grandchildren, Caleb McKenney (Erica), Anna Lesko (Solomon), Krista, Jared, Sarah Knisely, Katelyn and Joshua McKenney; his great grandchildren, Aliyah and Emmy Lesko; and his siblings, James McKenney (Sharon), Michel McKenney (Kathy), Suzanne Swanson and Dave McKenney (Barb).
