She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldridge Hornsby and Freda Hornsby (Richardson); her sister Barbara Chandler; and her grandson Matthew Ryan Ailes. She is survived by: her siblings, Jim Hornsby (Joanna) of Connersville, Pam Dugle (David) of Florida, Fred Hornsby (Crystal) of Greenwood, Roger Hornsby (Linda) of Arkansas and Tom Hornsby (Chris) of Greenwood; her children, Rodney Ailes (Pamela) of Noblesville, Rebecca Simmonds of Noblesville, Reid Daniel Ailes (Elizabeth) of Arcadia and Nichole Shirrell (Memo) of Indianapolis; and her grandchildren, Jessica Rodriguez (Joe) of Noblesville, Alexis Dubbeld (Connor) of Noblesville, Christopher Simmonds (Beth) of Noblesville, Erika Ailes of Arcadia, Audrey Cote (Adam) of Olmsted Falls, Nicklaus Ailes (Mirissa) of Arcadia, Angelica Dumes of Indianapolis and Mercedes Dumes of Indianapolis. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
