He was predeceased by : his father Howard E. Gard; and his pet Bailey. He is survived by : his children, Jason M. Gard of Noblesville, Jill A. Gard of West Lafayette and Nolan C. Gard of Cicero; his grandchildren, Kolton Gard, Cameron Loy, Carson Gard and Claire Pulley; his daughter Michelle Hetsko (Lester) of Flora; his sister Dawn Gard-Long; and his mother Martha A. Gard (Patty).
