She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul L. Hale and Clarice Hale (Mills); her husband William D Cooke; and her siblings, Kenneth Hale, Thomas Hale and Sally Coverdale (Hale).

She is survived by : her brother Donald Hale (Cheryl); her sons, Michael Cooke (Peggy) and Robin Cooke (Janice); and her grandchildren, Stacy Dona (Christopher Dona), Zachary Cooke (Keri), Katelynn Smith (Roosevelt Smith), Jeramie Cooke (Sylvia) and Ashley Cooke. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
