She was predeceased by : her parents, John Bowman and May Lambert Bowman; her siblings, Loretta Edmonds, Rose Bush and Donnie Bowman; and her husband K. D. York.
She is survived by : her children, David York (Beverly) of Tipton, IN, Dena Whipple (Rick) of Franklin, IN and Dee York of Avon, IN; her grandchildren, Amanda York and Erin Copeland; and her great grandchildren, Graisyn York and Lucas.
