With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley McMillen Mercer of Noblesville, Indiana, born in Penrod, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley McMillen and Rena Mallory McMillen; her husband David H. Mercer; and her sisters, Mary Dension and Margaret Tucker.

She is survived by: her son David Scott Mercer; her daughter-in-law Elena Bekirova Mercer; her sister Freida Baugh; and her sibling's children, Kendra Baugh, Joanna Schmitt, Tom Denision, Bruce Dension, Mark Tucker, Robert Tucker, Steven Baugh and Lee Clark.
