She was predeceased by: her parents, Bethel Griffith and Ines Griffith (Williams); her former husband Lindsey Chapman; her husband Buford Mings; her children, Lindsey Dean Chapman and Diana Lynn Chapman; and her siblings, Billy Dean, Douglas L Griffith, Justine Cornett, Charleen Combs, Ivacine Shepherd, Josephine Campbell and Brenda Wright.
She is survived by: her former husband Verlin Justice; her children, Daryel Chapman (Stacey) of North Vernon, Wayne Justice (Penny) of Janesville, Wisconsin and Donna Monroe (Jack Jr.) of North Vernon; her sister Teresa Griffith of Hazard, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Gloria Houshour (Brian) of Columbus, Rex A Chapman (Aileen) of Columbus, Brooke Ratliff (Brian) of North Vernon, Marcus Monroe (Janis) of North Vernon, Jackson Smock of North Vernon, Kayleigh Plunkett (Josh) of Greensburg, Amber Weppner (Jeremy) of Janesville, Heather Bornick of Beloit and Amber Davis (Brandon) of Avon.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Jean to Interim HealthCare Hospice of Jeffersonville.
