She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Carmichael and Thelma Carmichael (Scott); her former spouse Dale Hauersperger; her husband Robert Sullivan; her son Gary Hauersperger; her siblings, Larry Carmichael, Carole Fleetwood and Sharon Ison; and her friend Paul Farrell.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Hauersperger (Pam) of North Vernon, Steve Hauersperger (Kori) of South Bend, Sheila Coquerille (Dennis) of North Vernon and Sharlot Ertel (Bill) of North Vernon; her daughter-in-law Carol Harr (Herb) of Indianapolis; her sisters, Phyllis Chasteen of Seymour and Janey Bowman of Ooltewah, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Melissa Deck (Amber), Alana Thrine, Sarah Hillen (Derek), Justin Hauersperger, Luke Coquerille (Bethany), Ashley Newsom (Lucas), Annie Walker (Matt), Abbey Hicks (Zach), Jon Hauersperger (Danielle Biggs), Darcy Suhre (Ben), Zach Hauersperger (Kayla), Maddie Hauersperger, Andrew Hauersperger (Alyssa Stairs), Taylor Taylor (Alex), Daniel Hauersperger and Sam Hauersperger. She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A committal service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 4:45 PM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (1875 S County Rd 700 W, North Vernon, IN 47265).
Memorials may be made in honor of Kaye through the funeral home to St. Vincent DePaul.
