With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Petro of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on December 5, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Petro and Goldie Ann Petro (Turnmire); his wife Lucille Parker; his son David Petro; his grandchildren, Darrell Lee Bosaw and Jessica Petro; and his siblings, Harlan Petro, Harold Petro, Elva "Edith" Petro, Sue Johnson and Ibelle Cocherhan.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Petro (Carolyn) of North Vernon, Lee Petro of North Vernon, Mark Petro (Ashley) of Freetown, Debbie Bosaw (Tom) of North Vernon, Mary Petro (Rick) of North Vernon, Tina Bryant (Harold) of North Vernon and Pam Eve (Ronnie) of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Wayne Petro of Patriot, Leo Petro (Justina) of Scipio, Barbara Edward (Larry) of North Vernon and Arnetta Petro of Seymour. He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
