He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Paul and Jesse Leona Johnson (Coleman); and his siblings, Linda Bumpous, Mary Sullivan, Edward, Max and Bobby Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Johnson of North Webster; his children, Wendy Swieczkowski (Walter) of Florida, Curtis Johnson (Toni) of South Carolina, Russell Johnson of Indiana and David Johnson of Indiana; his grandchildren, Nichole Phaneuff (Jason), Greg Swieczkowski (Taelor), Alynda Phillips, Jeremiah Johnson, Caydence Johnson, Lexi, Kaleb, Anthony, Jaxon and Elaina; and his sister Betty Swann of Arizona.
