He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bryan and Louise Bryan; his son Paul (Sally Morris); and his siblings, Robert, Mary Lou and Suzanne.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary J. Shields; and his daughters, Joan Vatz (Ken), Jeanine Briefel (Dennis), Roseann Erikson (Robert) and Maureen Foos (Michael). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
