David Allan Chamness Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2025, at the age of 83, David Allan Chamness (Oakland City, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Cletus Irene Chamness (Georgia); his wife Shirley Kay Chamness; his mother Georgia Irene Chamness; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Breidenbaugh and Debbie Chamness.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Chamness (Diana), Scott Chamness (Anne), Julie Mokris (John) and Jennifer Bailey (Roger); his grandchild Jordan Roy (Lindsey); his children, Michael Chamness (Chrissy), Haley Doersam (Austin), Sarah Chamness, Alexander Chamness (Sarah), Spencer, Isabella, Elizabeth Chamness, Kennady, Landon Mokris, Breah, Dax and Shae Bailey; his great grandchildren, Parker and Sutton Doersam; his grandchildren, Kaid Chamness, Jo and John Chamness; his siblings, Roger Chamness and Mary Lou Breidenbaugh; and his friends, Gary Lemond, Bill Whitehead and Denzel. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
