He was predeceased by: his father James Thomas; his stepfathers, Paul Torie and Cornell Spornick; and his siblings, Maggie and Justin.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his mother Judith Spornick; his children, Samuel and Jessica; his stepchildren, Kristin Marsh (Mike), Kari Nelson (Dustin) and Erik Wiseman (Kimberly); his siblings, Douglas Thomas (Cindy), Jeff Thomas (Heather) and Kim Stancato (Johnnie); his siblings-in-law, Richard Day (Betsy), Chuck Searvogle, Kim Rothfuchs (Blaine) and Ruth Hesser (Richard); and his grandchildren, Mikenna, Travis, Hanna, Blake, Alyssa, Brogan, Maverik, Jaecy, Jayden and Jonah. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to the mandated restrictions by the state of Indiana regarding the Covid-19, a viewing will be Friday, April 17, 2020 from 10:00 a. m til 12:00 noon with a private family funeral service and private committal service with Military Honors.
