He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvia W. Payton and Julia Ann Payton (Harris); his daughter Patricia Dawn Payton-Goddard (Dean) of Valdosta, GA; his grandchildren, Macie Goddard and Jason Goddard; and his siblings, Elaine Reed of Orleans, Gail Hodges of Mitchell, Clarence Moore of Utah, Russell "Fred" Moore of Mitchell and Tony Moore of Orleans.
