He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Cassidy and Linda Longest; his grandparents, Robert Harley and Ruth Cassidy; and his brother Anthony Cassidy.
He is survived by: his wife Charity Cassidy; his stepsons, Micheal and Jonathan Holmes; his goddaughter Harmony LaHue (Rebecca Thornton); his siblings, Robert (Sammy), Daniel Cassidy, Gary Terry (Anita) and Barba Mosson; and his in-laws, Alan and Kimberly Scott. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Eastview Baptist Church (969 IN-56, Paoli, IN 47454). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers may be sent to the church, or contributions may be made to IU Health Hospice or any Cancer Society in Rick's memory, honoring his compassionate spirit and enduring legacy.
