He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Melson and Lillie Melson (Brewer); his wife Mildred Strickland; his grandchildren, Hollie Melson, Nicholas Melson, William Hoefle and Steven Rynearson; and his sister Libby Harville. He was also cherished by 9 great grandchildren.
