He was predeceased by: his father John Brugh; his brother Robert Brugh; and his son-in-law Steve Swope. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Kathryn Swope, Michelle Coryn (Ryan) and Michael Brugh (Heidi); his sister Kathryn Leniski (Joe); his mother Mildred Waldrop (Jim); his grandchildren, Haleigh Coryn, Carter Coryn, Henry Brugh, Charlie Brugh, Wesley Soliday, Morgan Swope and Avery Swope; the mother of his children Kathleen Szymczak; his stepsons, Tony Ganser (Amy), Ryan Ganser (Jenny) and Sean Ganser (Somer); and his stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Colson, Aidan, Addison, Mason and Hunter Ganser.
In lieu of flowers any donations in John's memory will be given to the Hepatology Department at Loyola University Medical Center.
