He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Melson and Mildred Melson (Stricklin); his wife Darlene Melson (Gettinger); his children, Hollie Melson and Nicholas Melson (Amy); his grandchildren, Ray, Jaron, Davon McKinstry, Josie and Atlas Melson; and his sister Carolyn Rynearson.
