He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynde Burkhart and Florence Burkhart. He is survived by: his daughter Angela Burkhart of Mishawaka; his grandchildren, Gracie and Isabel; his children, Rory, Regan, Travis and Haelynn of Mishawaka; his niece Lisa Pohl of Mishawaka; and his siblings, Lynde "Rock" Burkhart, Cheryl Lane and Cynthia Lehner.
