It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Best (Otterbein, Indiana), who passed away on April 17, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her grandson Isaac Best; and her brothers, Clarence Jr. and Norman Hall. She is survived by : her husband James A. Best, Sr.; her children, James A. Best, Jr. (Sandi), John F. Best, Jayson R. Best and Marla J. Staggs (Delbert); her grandchildren, Ben Staggs, Lucy Pope and Dawson Best; her great grandchildren, Jaycee, Kamryn, Ryland Staggs and Cash Pope; and her siblings, Clifford "Bill" Hall (Marge), Sue Burton and Dorothy Silvers.
