He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lottes and Sophie Lottes; his wife Ninalea Lottes; and his sons, Kevin Lottes and James "Butch" Lottes.

He is survived by: his children, Jerry Lottes, Sandy Boruff (Roger) and Pam Bough; and his grandchildren, Mindy Nolan (Billy) and Kevin Lottes Jr. (Kisha). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
