He was predeceased by : his parents, Alexander Johnson and Pearl Johnson (Horath); his former life partner Rose Marie Johnson (Cleveland); his siblings, Harold Johnson, Neva Wilson, Imogene Glover, Owen Johnson, Nolan Johnson and Kenneth Johnson; and his great grandchild Peyton DeBord.

He is survived by : his wife Janette Johnson (Bryant Wright); his children, Ronald Johnson (Patti) and Kimberly Chandler (Mike); his stepsons, Brian Wright (Vangie) and Greg Wright; his sister Marcia Williams; his grandchildren, Lyndsi Deer (Donnie), Todd Chandler (Katie), Janelle Wasson (Matt), Vanessa DeBord (Nathan), Blake Johnson and Ashlyn Wright; and his great grandchildren, McKade, Bennett Deer, Walter Chandler, Ellie, Bralynn Wasson, Alexandria, Brooklynn and Jovie DeBord.
