He is survived by: his wife Christina Goodwin (Higginbotham); his children, Joseph Goodwin Jr., Tristen Drust (Michael), Cody Goodwin, Duel Goodwin and Janet Goodwin; and his siblings, David Roy (Becky), Paul Goodwin (Frances), Mark Goodwin (Renee) and Paula MacDonald (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
