He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Puckett and Frances Puckett (Burd); his wife Wanda Puckett (Edwards); his daughter Carla Ruth Puckett; and his siblings, Terry Puckett and Bettie Harvey.

He is survived by: his daughters, Meliah Hammes and Shelly A. Hamm of Paoli; his grandchildren, Jerrod C. Hammes (Shannon) and Malia M. Marks (Andrew); and his great grandchild Brinleigh Hammes.

Memorial contribution may be made to the Orleans Christian Church.
