He is survived by: his brothers, Raymond Moon of Hardinsburg, Gerald Moon (Teresa) of Mitchell, Roger Moon (Valerie) of Paoli, Denny Moon (Tammy) of Paoli and Kevin Doris; his siblings-in-law, Glennis Mary Kay, Judy Simpson of Paoli and Sherry Moon of Hardinsburg; and his nieces and nephews, Bryan Hess, Chad Hess (Hilda), Brent Hess, John Moon (Lisa), David Moon, Jeremy Moon, Jon Moon (Molly), Michael Bass, Matt Brown (Ana), Adam Brown, Mike Madden, Joe Moon (Elizabeth), Glenda Mahuron (James), Melissa Hurst (Brian), Marva Andrews (Tom), Angela Cundiff (Kevin), Ronda Elrod, Pamela Cooper (Jim), April Butler (Jimmy), Cathy Boulet (Jon), Cindy Schmitz (Hans), Mariah Blalock (Kevin), Kendra Mathes (Charles), Misty Ross (Kenneth), Jenny Cook (Jason), Bonnie Childers (David) and Kyanna Moon.
