He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hanes and Jacqueline Hanes (Phillips); and his brother Jonathan Hanes. He is survived by: his wife Debra Faye Hanes (Robertson) of Parker City, IN; his daughters, Donna Trittipo (Dave) and April Gray (Joe) of Muncie, IN; his brothers, Richard Hanes (Casey) of West Virginia, Matthew Hanes of Boonville, IN and Luther Hanes (Denise) of Evansville, IN; and his grandchildren, Briana Garrett and Emma Gray.
