He is survived by: his sons, Robert Julius, William Clay (Sara) and Brian; his grandchildren, Angel Crowell-Black (Seth), Loralei, Maddox, Aria, Tristan and Laney; his sister Martha Phipps (Virgil); and his friend Bonnie Keesling.
