He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall A. Welsh and Rose Welsh (Creed); and his daughter Katherine Ehresman. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Palmer; his children, Rebecca Welsh of Wabash and Edward A. Welsh (Dee) of Fairfield; and his grandchildren, Daniel Maloy of Peru, Joel Maloy (Sarah) of Logansport, Traci Hummer (Todd) of Westchester, Angie Gilbert (Bryan) of Westchester and Tricia Inderhees (Jason) of Loveland. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and a great great grandson.
