She was predeceased by : her parents, Arndt Megenhardt and Pauline Megenhardt; her brother John David Megenhardt; and her siblings-in-law, Deloris Megenhardt, Darral Duncan, Gerald Dunigan, Margaret Dunigan and Pauline Dunigan.

She is survived by : her husband Howard; her children, Greg Dunigan (Jamie) and Danette Robinson (Tom); her grandchildren, Hayden, Dietrich Dunigan, Brittany Robinson (Roger) and Kirstin Robinson (Sean Gassen); her siblings, Dona Duncan of Brownsburg, Indiana and Bill Megenhardt (Norma) of Arizona; and her friends, Michelle Bennett, Phyllis Dillon and Carol Sue Sutton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Marilyn Lucido wrote a sympathy message

“I knew Gracie Dunigan a long time ago, when we both worked for ACIC in Saint Louis, MO. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I ran across a letter today from her that was written December 1960 and was hoping to find her in a search on the internet. When I knew her, she was married to Howard and had one child, Greg. In reading the obituary, I see that she was blessed with two children. Gracie was such a sweet person and influenced my life in so many ways. She will be missed. Marilyn Lucido”
